NJVN Testifying About Veterans Mental Health in Front of NJ Senate Military and Veterans Affairs Committee

Help us save Vets!

We were invited to testify in front of the NJ Senate Military and Veterans Affairs Committee about the current Veterans Mental Health situation

It was an honor to be able to share our charity’s mission with our state legislatures!

Our team’s Outreach Director, Francisco Doc Schupp, did an amazing job explaining how we are able to help veterans cope with the difficulties and challenges they deal with.

Our team’s legislative Officer, Will Sheehan, also spoke about providing health care to veterans suffering from PTSD, TBI, and Sexual Trauma.

This could not have been possible without all the volunteers and sponsors who are dedicated and committed with providing our veterans life saving/changing assistance!

Finally, we would like to thank Senator Joseph Cryan for always supporting our team’s endeavors and joining us with combating veteran suicide!

Batman Movie Day for Veterans

3-25-22
Help us save Vets!

Recently Doc Schupp had a crazy idea to take a few dozen veterans to the movies and have a Batman Day!

As part of the New Jersey Veterans Network event, we rented an entire theater out and had a pre-Batman party for about a dozen veterans. We had Batman logo shaped pizzas and giant size video games. We also offered military themed games and Veteran community resources like the Vet Center, Catholic Charities and the MOVES program!

The pre-party was so much fun that Batman and Catwoman themselves stopped by for some photos! When it was time for the movie, we led the Veterans there at the head of the vehicle caravan! A good time was had by all!
